Have you ever wanted to build a city and then blow it up? Or perhaps you like creating complex machines and then watch them work. Or maybe you’d like to create a complex machine that stomps a city and causes explosions. Powder Toy lets you to do all of these, and even more!

As described on their website:
Powder Toy is a free physics sandbox game, which simulates air pressure and velocity, heat, gravity and a countless number of interactions between different substances!

Download the tool and create different things ranging from bombs to art. There are lots of different materials to choose from. You can create a number of different projects, upload them and set them in motion.

Downloading the tool is free, but to upload your projects you’ll have to signup and create your own account. That too is free.

You can review the projects others have created and get some interesting ideas or inspirations from their creations. To view other users projects, go into the game console, click on FIND and open a simulation. At the top of the simulation list you’ll see a field to search for users or projects. Type in user:Spyderwolf and you’ll find my projects.

Minecraft is a sandbox game created by a Swedish gamer named Markus Alexej “Notch” Persson. It is a sandbox game that allows players to build constructions out of textured cubes in a 3D world.

At the age of 9 “Notch” programmed his first game on his fathers “commodore” computer. Minecraft was initially released on May 17, 2009, as a developmental alpha version game. More updates progressed and the game was published as a full release version on November 18, 2011. Continue reading
