Announcement Due Out Monday From SpaceX

The fevered speculation about billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk’s mysterious “Hyperloop” transport system is about to come to an end. 

The visionary CEO behind electric-car firm Tesla and the private spaceflight company SpaceX has said he will unveil a Hyperloop design on Monday (Aug. 12).

Hyperloop is intended to be a passenger transport costing less than a plane ticket to ride. But don’t get too excited. Hyperloop, a solar powered vehicle is designed to take you from Los Angeles to San Francisco in less than 30 minutes. Which means the flight must reach speeds over 600mph.
